Westchester County Branding Agency
Branding Built for Westchester Businesses.
We have spent more than three decades helping Westchester businesses look established, communicate clearly, and grow without losing what makes them local.
01 The case
Why Westchester Branding Is Its Own Discipline
A brand identity that wins in Westchester does a different job than one that wins in Manhattan or one that wins in a national e-commerce category. The Westchester customer expects a level of polish and quality that approaches Manhattan, but signals trust through different cues: longer-tenured local presence (a business that has been here 30 years carries weight), authentic community connection (real Westchester clients in your testimonial set, not stock photos), and design choices that read as established rather than disruptive. We design brands that respect those cues. Our Westchester clients consistently report that prospects say things like "you feel like you have been here forever" even when the business is relatively new, because the brand telegraphs the right local context.
Named Westchester Clients in Our Portfolio
Real client names matter for credibility, so here is a partial list. In Larchmont, we have worked with Lor Ainé 1986 (luxury jewelry boutique), Post Wine & Spirits, Cafeto coffee shop, and Mode De Vie Hair Studio (Eastchester). In Mamaroneck, Arcadia Floral Company and 1st Choice Plumbing. In Rye, GTEC Construction. Across the regional food category, Empire Bagels (Bobos brand redesign) and Vee's Italian Bakery. Mail Call America (a veteran-focused care-package nonprofit) is another Westchester-connected client. Each of these is a real, current iDesign relationship with work you can verify in our portfolio. We have additional clients we share by name on discovery calls.
Logo and Identity for Westchester Businesses
Logo work for a Westchester business is calibrated differently than for a Manhattan business or a national consumer brand. The mark needs to look like it belongs at the corner of Boston Post Rd and Chatsworth Ave, not transplanted from a SoHo agency briefing book. That does not mean it should be generic or provincial. It means the typography choices, color decisions, and visual restraint should read as confident-and-local rather than aggressive-and-trying-too-hard. We design logos that hold up at storefront scale (the awning over Mamaroneck Avenue), at small print scale (the business card slid across a Scarsdale dentist office front desk), and in digital scale (the Instagram profile picture next to a customer's Larchmont brunch photo). The same logo, working at every scale a Westchester business actually uses.
Brand Systems That Compound Over Time
Most Westchester businesses scale slowly and steadily over years rather than rapidly over months. That changes the design problem. A brand identity that is going to be in market for the next 10 years needs to be built on classical typography, restrained color logic, and visual systems that feel timeless rather than trend-chasing. We design brand systems that hold up over time and across the dozens of touchpoints a real Westchester business uses: storefront signage, vehicle wraps, business cards, email templates, social media graphics, packaging, menus, print ads in the local paper, signage at the local fair, sponsorship banners at the Little League game. The brand has to read consistently across all of those, and the brand guidelines have to be clear enough that the staff at the front desk can stay on-brand without our involvement.
Industries We Have Built Brands For Across the County
Restaurants and hospitality (Vee's Italian, Empire Bagels, Cafeto, several others). Retail and boutique (Lor Aine, Post Wine & Spirits, Five Love). Real estate (multiple firms across the county). Healthcare and dental (multiple practices). Professional services (law firms, accounting practices, financial advisors). Construction and trades (GTEC Construction, 1st Choice Plumbing). Beauty and wellness (Mode De Vie). Nonprofits (Mail Call America, Alpha Group Foundation). If your industry is on this list, we have direct pattern recognition for what works in your category in this market. If not, we will tell you honestly during the first call whether we have transferable experience or whether you would be better served elsewhere.
What Working With Us Looks Like in Westchester
Most Westchester clients prefer a mix of in-person meetings and video calls. The kickoff and major strategic decisions usually happen in person, either at our Larchmont studio or at the client site. Working sessions, design reviews, and check-ins typically happen via Zoom or phone, with shared Figma files and email between meetings. We are 30 minutes or less from anywhere in Westchester County by car, which makes it easy to come to your office for production reviews or photography days. We respond to client communication same-day, the senior person on your project is the senior person doing your work, and we do not pass clients off to junior account managers after the first meeting. Westchester businesses tend to value relationships, and we run our practice the same way.
02 Common questions
- Where in Westchester County do you serve?
- All of it. Our studio is in Larchmont, and we work with businesses across the full county including White Plains, Scarsdale, Rye, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle, Harrison, Pelham, Bronxville, Tarrytown, Yonkers, Eastchester, Port Chester, and the smaller villages between. Most client work happens through video calls and email, with in-person meetings at our studio or at the client site as needed.
- Are you actually based in Westchester?
- Yes. Our studio is at 2081 Boston Post Rd, 2nd Floor, Larchmont, NY 10538. We have been at this location for years. Our team lives in the county and knows the local market intimately. The veteran-owned designation (SDVOSB) is real, and so is our 32-year history.
- What does branding cost in Westchester?
- Westchester branding typically runs less than NYC agency pricing and more than what a freelance designer would charge for the same scope. The right number for your specific project depends on the work scope (logo only, full identity, brand refresh, or comprehensive system), the complexity of your industry, and the timeline. We will quote transparently after a discovery call.
- Can we meet in person?
- Yes. Our studio is in Larchmont, and we welcome client visits. We also come to client offices across Westchester for kickoff meetings, photography days, or production reviews. Many clients prefer the efficiency of video calls for working sessions and reserve in-person time for strategy and decision points.
- What industries have you worked with in Westchester?
- Restaurants and hospitality, retail and boutique, real estate, healthcare and dental, professional services, construction and trades, beauty and wellness, nonprofits, and consumer brands. Some named Westchester clients include Vee's Italian Bakery, Empire Bagels, Lor Ainé 1986, Post Wine & Spirits, Arcadia Floral Company, 1st Choice Plumbing, GTEC Construction, and Mode De Vie Hair Studio. We have additional case studies we share on discovery calls.
